September 30, 20205 yr Is there a way to get the departure frequency before takeoff so I can pre-load it in the standby window? I get a departure frequency as part of my clearance, but in all the flights I have done so far, the frequency is never correct. I have also tried asking for the departure frequency before takeoff but no response. Some aircraft like the Maddog X do not support co-pilot control of frequency changing so it would be helpful if I can at least know what frequency to preload. Thanks!

Thanks, Dave Yesterday, out of KDFW going to KIAH, clearance gave me departure freq 118.1 but the actual frequency I got after takeoff was 126.47. All the flight s I have done in the past few days seem to have this issue, mostly flights in the US like KORD, KIAD, KJFK and KDCA.
