September 30, 20205 yr I haven't been seeing much about this. I've read a few topics from a search, but no real answers. I too have this issue, where sometimes the heading bug only moves in 10deg increments. Has there been any solution to this? I mean it seems at this point the community is better at fixing stuff.
September 30, 20205 yr Do you have the honeycomb yoke? One issue was to do with this apparently. Edited September 30, 20205 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
September 30, 20205 yr Author Just now, bobcat999 said: Do you have the honeycomb yoke? One issue was to do with this apparently. I do not, an old X45 Saitek. I've read the honeycomb thing tho. I have an idea from them and I'll have to try it. I think it's mapping of a three way switch.
September 30, 20205 yr Author Ok I think I know the reason for this. It's maybe the same as what I've read the Honeycomb yoke users are seeing. I had the flaps set to a 3 way switch on my X45 throttle. With this switch mapped, I get 10deg movements on not just the heading bug, but on the speed for the autopilot (FLC?) as well. Unmapped it and back into the plane and then it's 1deg as intended. Filing (another) at the zendesk. Sigh.
October 1, 20205 yr I confirm the issue persists, using honeycomb alpha. There are solutions such as unmapping all on/off toggle switches or remapping on fsuipc, but I don’t like either. Sadly it is listed as a supported joystick for MSFS.
