so i have tried doing an ils approach about a dozen times now at different airports but the localizer bar never shows up. the dme works and glide slope works but that bar that tells you if your left or right is missing and never captures. am i doing something wrong or is it broken?

i have already tried enable/disable the "disable downwind ILS" option thing but no change

edit: the default aircraft work fine, currently the only addon i have is hotstart tbm 900

I don´t have the Hotstart TBM - but all I ever hear about it is great feedback, so it would surprise me to no end if there is actually a problem with showing the LOC.

My first guess was also the "disable downwind" - but you checked that already.

My suggestion would be to post this question in the support forum for this aircraft, as far fetched as that may sound 😉

The "solution" is to use xp 11 version of navdata, not 11.50.

sorry for the late reply, i joined the hotstart discord and got help there, apparently hotstart tbm 900 does not like the 11.50 navdata and they are currently working on an update to fix it. in the mean time i had to get navigraph to get it to work. i was thinking of getting navigraph anyways so its all good

Thanks for reporting your fix - the newest dataset of navdata in 11.50 format contains information on ILS magnetic front course (in addition to the true front course), so that may have thrown the hotstart TBM off.

Tanks, i just bought the TBM iam a P3D user but after fiddeling with MSFS TBM i give XP11.50 a go not used it for over one year.

No iam verry happy XP11 user mostly fly the Hotstart TBM 900 and IXEG 733 love to fly them

i have Navigraph ultimate , first thing i did was uppdate all airacs to latest ones.

I have the same problem no CDI on ILS , what should I do?
