October 3, 20205 yr Hi, I just selected a flight from KTPA to KMIA (approx.230Nm) with a A320NEO and looked at the vertical profile in the navlog. It shows up to 10,000' - 250Knt and over 10,000' the speed increases to 459Knt in the climb phase and 437Knt in the cruise phase. The 437Knt speed is held in the descend until 10,000' and then reduced to 234Knt. Obviously you can't fly this aircraft at 400 plus Knt speed. So what is this speed display and is it downloaded with the flightplan into the FMC? That would be a way high cruise speed. Thanks for clarification Brgds Juergen Mader
October 3, 20205 yr True Air Speed? IAS is quite useless in a navlog, you want TAS/GS since those are core flight planning parameters Edited October 3, 20205 yr by SAS443 EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
