Hi,

It's me, again...

I have been enjoying P3D for days, and slowly getting the required add-ons to have a better experience. I am loving the simulator and the airliners available for it. However, I have a few issues, with the first one being night lighting. In my case light orbs, especially for VASI/PAPI and runway lights etc. seem to be extremely large. Is there a way to get a similar look to X-Plane in that sense? Secondly, when I change camera views it takes 1-2 seconds for model to fully load, but after watching some Prepar3D streams, I noticed that other people don't experience this. Is there a fix for it I don't know of?

Thank you.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

You can control their size.  See below for a thread (thanks @greggerm )

I don't experience that.   It is highly hardware and settings dependent, and possibly aircraft dependent. What do you run?

Slow-ish model texture loading is a well-known phenomenon in P3D (and FSX as well, if distant memory serves me correctly). You’ll see it when your too-high settings overload an under-powered GPU, it just takes a moment for the texture loading to catch up. With a 2080TI it’s not an issue at all, practically speaking, but I can still trigger it if I cycle through AI aircraft too quickly.
