October 18, 20205 yr Why the savage cub does not veer to the left during the take off roll due to propwash and p-factor? Anyone tryied to modify flightmodel.cfg?

It does if you set correct settings Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). Select modern flight model, and preset "realistic" It should work for most aircraft. Some have more pronounced some less. I recommend to use mods to have better experience with default aircraft Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). October 18, 20205 yr Author @sd_flyer I do use modern flight model and I indeed see the effect of propwash and pfactor in the 172 and in the xcub, but not in the savage. Do you have any suggestion on the parameters to play with in flightmodel.cfg?

I don't really know what other problems you might have. Try to repair app or in worse case reinstall. Do you have any suggestion on the parameters to play with in flightmodel.cfg? Yes I used modern. I tried both Savage and Carbon cubs. They do have gyroscopic precession but P-fact not as pronounced as in real life but they do exists. In 172 they are about right. I'm using TM Warthog and CH rudders, sensitivity 50% Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). FS2020 DOES simulate Torque, P-factors, etc. My problem was the wrong rudder trim settings!!! Captain! Thank you very much for your attention and help! I really appreciate that! 😃 P.S. October 18, 20205 yr The XCub loves veering off to the side during the take-off roll. A bit too much I think. I had to change the sensitivity for my rudder pedals for that aircraft alone. But it's great fun to fly!
