October 24, 20205 yr Up until now, the world has been looking good. Today, in French Polynesia, I discovered the landscape is not right. This is (my) Bora Bora on ultra setting. Something is definitely amiss. I've seen other screenshots and although the area could use a good upgrade, other pilots do not have the same sandy wasteland I am seeing. It should at least be tree-covered.
October 24, 20205 yr Commercial Member Looks like landmark issues, due to cloudy aerial from Bing. When the aerial are too cloudy (Polynesia is infamous for its very very cloudy aerials) msfs replaces it with landclass textures. Im not surprised this part of the world is not optimal, its hard to get good aerials for it.
October 24, 20205 yr Commercial Member Is that a repaint you use? Whats going on with the textures on the Turbine?
October 24, 20205 yr Author Ya, that’s a repaint on KA. The author used that unique block texture on part of the fuselage. I had to try it but not sure it’s for me. Too bad about the land textures. I guess I’ll have to wait for a scenery upgrade. Or go back to FSX. I was using Flightscene’s Tahiti package. From the air, it was stunning.
