This is the first I've heard of the replacement textures causing stutters. But I suppose anything is possible and the reports I've heard have been all over the place as far has whether or not these help at all. If they don't work for you, then should probably just go back to your originals.

They work fine. With your system I would not go below the 50% reductions. I would try the cfg tweaks first.
