October 24, 20205 yr Just started this week. P2ATC copilot attempts to tune standby com radio frequency, (you can see the numbers flash once) but they don't change to the given frequency. The copilot DOES switch the com radio after the attempted change. I also cannot change the com1 frequency in Pilot to ATC. I can tune the standby com in the aircraft myself just not in [email protected] loaded up thePMDG 737 and it worked fine and had been working in the Airbus. Anyone ever experience this issue before? Thanks in advance for the help.. P3D V4.5... Aerosoft Airbus P2ATC EZdok TrackIR Edited October 24, 20205 yr by garryw52
October 25, 20205 yr Commercial Member This is a common problem with 3rd Party complex aircraft. Their avionics are implemented differently and prevent P2A from manipulating the frequencies or transponder settings. Some of them have a setting you can enable interaction with 3rd Party programs, so look in the aircraft documentation for something like that. Dave
October 25, 20205 yr If youre using the latest experimental updates for the airbus, its a known issue. This is occurring with other external programs and hardware (the saitek/logitech radio panel). Roll back the airbus to the last stable release version.
October 26, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the replies. i was reading the P2ATC logs because i thought that might be the issue, but discovered that the issue was the Airbus itself after i ran two logs, one for the Airbus and one for the 737 and compared them. I uninstalled the Bus and reinstalled the version i had before i last ran the updater and everything is working fine. I'll fly this version for a while then update it again and see what happens. Anyway thanks for the replies..
