Steering Question / FSUIPC

Featured Replies

I used to have it by default that my steering could be controlled by my twist axis on my T.1600.  That stopped working.  Is there a way to get that back?  I am guessing it is in the settings but I want to make sure I get that corrected.  I am not using FSUIPC.

Also, is there a way to have the twist axis only control steering and my rudder pedals only control my rudder?  Or is that a functionality that I would need FSUIPC for?

And speaking of FSUIPC for MS2020, I heard there is a beta version out.  Does it work the same as in P3d?  How would I access that menu in the sim?

ok, last question first - for MSFS FSUIPC is a standalone program, not a module so when you run it there is an icon in the task bar and you access the menu from there.

As to using the twist to control steering and pedals for rudder -  I THINK you could do it *IF* there is a specific steering access defined in MSFS. I am not aware of one but I know I don't have them all committed to memory.

Thanks.  As for the steering via the twist, how do I set that up?  It doesn't steer at all.  I can only use pedals for some reason

Not at my flight system but IIRC with FSUIPC there was a "steering set" command that would do it. You just have to look through the MSFS controls for anything related to steering and see if it works.
