November 2, 20205 yr If you get the Steam version just remember to never run the file integrity check (unless you like doing entire reinstalls). Patches and updates come about 30mins-1hr. after the MS version. With the MS Store version, you are tied to the MS Store which likes to control the installation path into an encrypted place. One benefit of the MS Store version is if you also have a Xbox then it's been noted that MSFS will be part of MS play anywhere (Xbox and PC) which if you get the Steam version it's PC only. James
