November 2, 20205 yr Hello all, With the recent MSE sale I have yet again expanded my USA photoscenery coverage, inching further east every time. I particularly like MSE for the Southwest, as the clarity of the imagery is just beautiful. However, I always get into trouble on flights that skirt the US-Mexico border. Does anybody know of any good (Northern) Mexican photosceneries? I know there's one that covers Tijuana, but that's all I could find. Any pointers are appreciated! November 2, 20205 yr I have been looking for the same since I moved to Tucson almost 10 yrs ago. No joy. I have heard various reasons about (1) data quality, (2) data availability and/or (3) cost to procure. Every couple of years I contact Megascenery and ask them if they are planning to do Mexico. I think you know what the answer is. However, it looks okay in Google Earth (just checked). I wonder if there is a way to import it? In lieu of photoscenery, I use UTX Tropical 2.0 (which covers all of Mexico as well). It matches well with BM Night Lighting as well (including the auto traffic add-on). Since you into the SW (welcome!), here are a complete of other issues for me.(1) the lack of a professionally done KTUS (Tucson Airport) which is a good jumping off point into Mexico. (2) the recently announced cancellation by Riddlez Interaction of P3D development of KSAF (Santa Fe, NM) -- it will be developed only for FS2020. BTW, if you haven't gotten KABQ, that is a good add-on. Bienvenidos! November 3, 20205 yr Author I agree, I would love to have Tuscon, and also El Paso. I did get KABQ as soon as it released but have been waiting for P3Dv5, and then v5 HF1, so havent gotten around to installing it yet... Bummer that Mexican photosceneries are just not being produced. I think your idea for a manual converison from Google maps might be the only way to go... It's easy to do using SBuilderX, but because of how much work that probably will be, I haven't really been wanting to go that route. But if it's the only way... November 3, 20205 yr There are a couple of sites where you can find photoreal scenery for Mexico, mostly made for FSX that work in P3D of various quality. https://www.fsmex.com https://furanuku77.blogspot.com/ The first link is for a Forum where some members have created somo photo real scenery for various areas of Mexico. The forum is in Spanish although I'm sure if you post asking for the scenery in english someone will reply. The second link is dedicated to photoreal scenery for some areas of Mexico as well as for other areas of South America. So far I have downloaded Acapulco, Mazatlan, Puerto Escondido, Veracruz, Merida, Guadalajara, Reinosa and Talpa de Allende Jalisco. If you cannot find these sceneries send me a PM.
