I have recently upgrade to Voxt ATC 7.43 from Vox ATC 6.

Voc ATC 6 including an english addons for correct wording such as "ready for departure" instead of takeoff

Anyone provide clues as to what I need to do to adjust VoxATC to the English wording?

I don't regularly fly in the UK, so maybe someone else here can check on this for you. The UK wording worked in previous versions, but maybe there's a bug in 7.43 that's preventing it from working properly. Are the other UK-specific features also not working for you?

Make sure that the file:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>d\AppData\Roaming\Internal Workings\VoxATC P3D 5\VASettings.xml

has this section listed below. Also, report your findings on the official contact page at www.VOXATC.com.

These items are editable and VOXATC should pick up any changes that you make with a text editor such as either Notepad or Notepad++.

7.43 does use "ready for departure" etc. if you are flying in the UK or Europe. Where are you currently flying?
