Altimeter Setting

Featured Replies

I have noticed that when calling the altimeter setting set in the aircraft, FS2Crew reads back the current altimeter of the spot I am currently flying over, rather than the altimeter setting set in the aircraft.  Also, could FS2Crew read the V-speed's, flap settings, etc. set in the MCDU rather than having to retype them into the FS2Crew departure page?

Hi Jeremey,

We can't read V-Speeds out of the MCDU, etc., because the data is not available.  There's no SDK for the Labs.

The altimeter is the same.  We can't directly read it out of the plane directly, so we have to read what Flight Simulator itself thinks the altimeter setting is.

Best,

Darn the limitations!  But thank you for the reply!
