November 5, 20205 yr Hi Is there a way to make requests of altitude changes during a flight (up/down) in Pilot2atc without using the voice commands? English is not my native language, and some times when I Request altitude changes during a flight (using voice commands) the AI mishears what I say and It messes up my Flightplan sending me way to high or stypiditly low, and its really hard to try to get clearence for the altitude I originaly had. This annoys me a bit. Is there a solution to this?
November 5, 20205 yr Commercial Member Use SayIt + (plus) so you can fill in the requested altitude in the Altitude request phrase. Dave
November 6, 20205 yr As Dave said, SayIt will work, but from own experience with my strong German accent, training the Windows speech recognition with Grammar Helper really helps. I had a couple of phrases which the AI always got wrong, including flight level changes as you described, so I added these to a personal training list and trained that a couple of times. Noticable improvement. Yes, it requires some work and time to train all these phrases, but it's worth it. The Windows speech recognition is actually pretty good even with accents after some training.
