pilot2atc not responding after using "sayit"

Featured Replies

I installed pilot2atc today and got it to connect to FS2020 but when I use the "say it" feature to say something to ATC I don't get any response. I have a flight plan which I also imported to FS2020 and pilot2atc is showing the green indicator at the bottom left to indicate that the simulated aeroplane in FS2020 is running etc. I have not tried to use my voice, only the say it feature.

I tried several phrases including the "ready to copy" one which I've seen several people started with but I have not had any response on any of the phrases that I tried.

I’d suggest posting this in the Pilot2ATC forum here.  The dev is quite quick to respond there.

I am a big user of this program with no issues.  One thing, make sure you are on the correct freq otherwise the sayit will be blank

also, make sure your flight plan is verified and transmitted (upper right corner of the P2A screen - should be greeen vs grey)

Thank you for the advice Mike S KPDX. I checked that I did all the things that you mentioned but still do not get any response. I think I will ask my question again in the Pilot2ATC forum as regis9 suggested.
