USAirways Parking Brake Set Landing Pictures

Featured Replies

Oops. May have been an old FS pilot. Before autobrakes were actually added to FS, the trick was to land with the parking brake set. :-)

Amazing. I've heard of flat-spotting the tires, but not the brake disks :-lol---------------------------------------"If it doesn't have a VC, I won't be flying it http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v615/DarrenA300/smug.gif" ... hang on a minute .... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v615/DarrenA300/unsure.gif ... that is too restrictive! Most flight simulator planes don't have a fully functional VC .... I'm happy to fly non-VC planes such as the brilliant iFDG range, Samdim's fantastic aircraft, POSKY's wonderful planes, and many many others! I'm the richer for it :).

That's not only hard on the aircraft. Probably gonna hit the crews paycheck pretty hard as well!Darrell

I had to go up to KBOS to change all 4 main's on a Saab 340 for the same thing,When I got to talk to the captain about it,he was very upset like he had been just chewed out by a certain Senator/Airline owner. It was very cold out on the ramp for me. so I sugested a case of beer for the mechanics was on order. Still waiting............. I hate pilot's:-mad ;)
