MSFS weather in Pilot2ATC

Featured Replies

I was looking for another topic on this but did not see one. Is there a way for Pilot2ATC to get weather data from MSFS2020 or Rex weather force? I am using Rex when I can but other times it would be nice if Pilot2ATC would just have the weather from the sim. I currently have Pilot2ATC set to NOAA and when using Rex, it is almost perfect 99% of the time. I would like to sync them up though.

Rex has told one of our users that they plan to make the MSFS version product the METAR file P2A needs...but no timeframe was given.

Currently, MSFS does not provide the data needed either.

The best bet is to do what you're doing.  Set P2A to NOAA and set MSFS or your weather engine to real weather.  It should then be very close to matching.

Hi, it's February 2021 and it there a working solution to this, yet?  I have P2A set to NOAA and still get no metar for my airports - the active runway only is announced, sometimes not in sync what what is the real wind direction according to NOAA.  At least I can force the runway for takeoff, right?

Well, that makes sense, I have 2.6.1.3.  Is there a way to get reminders when a new version is released?
