November 9, 20205 yr If this has happened to you or one of your flying buddies, please add to this post with whatever details you can provide! What happens... In multiplayer mode, one or several participants lose all engine power and/or experience a loss of elevator control, putting them into a dive. Thus far, when we have seen this happen, the victim has a Carenado airplane (C182 or M20) installed. Even though he is not flying this airplane, another pilot in the virtual sky is, and MSFS2020 will load this airplane visual model to display it. Now we are into "detective mode".... I suspect that this Carenado model has DRM code in it, and this code activates and issues Mixture=0 and Elevator full down commands. We have seen this happen in P3D and conclusively pinned it to the Carenado code... hence my suspicion.. So, if any of this sounds familiar, kindly add your experience! I have already contacted Carenado, but they claim to be innocent in all of this.. 😉 Edited November 9, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
November 9, 20205 yr One known issue is you need to select the option to use generic textures for AI when in multiplayer mode.
