November 12, 20205 yr New here, sorry for the rookie question, but while creating a flight plan the map returns to position not related to my plan. It seems to do this automatically within a few seconds and I can't figure out which setting I have to change. Please help the newbe

November 13, 20205 yr Welcome to Avsim! I cannot say that I have ever had issues with the default flight planner in FSX. Could it be that one of your controllers is faulty and is making the map move? My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
