November 13, 20205 yr Hey, Is anyone here could give me some explanation for the VNAV button on the Cessna longitude ? To my understanding when we hit this button the plane should follow the altitude we put in the flight plan for each waypoint and manage the descent himself Am I right ? If yes is that normal that it does not seem to work ? Thank you in advance 🙂
November 13, 20205 yr It doesn't work in the sim But yeah. It it were operational, VNAV would take altitudes from the G5000/flight plan and follow the constraints. I believe it would not climb or descend above/below the altitude you dialed into the selector though. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 13, 20205 yr Author Oh that's why so 🙂 Thanks for the answer, hope they will add that someday 🙂
November 13, 20205 yr I doubt it but it would be nice. Working LNAV/VNAV with Navigraph support.... I don't need 100% authentic...maybe some flight model tweaks 🙂 | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
