November 15, 200619 yr Morning Guys,I have recently downloaded the WOAI Installer and a few packages to see how I get on in FSX. I have a problem when trying to run an AI zip file through the installer. I have checked that the FSX path is correct but I get the following error message:" Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit the application will close immediately.Could not load file or assembly "ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib, Version=0.84.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublickeyToken=1b03e6cf1164f73" or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."Can anyone help me? I have installed the installer into the program directory and the zip files are on disk, I don't know if this could be the issue?
November 15, 200619 yr Do you have MS.net framework ver 2 installed?Just a hunch as I have not had any problemBill
November 15, 200619 yr Yes, I downloaded it and installed it specifically for this reason. Unless ofcourse NET 2.0 has not installed properly!

November 15, 200619 yr RobI have installed a lot of the woai packages(i have to say initially for FSX so they will install okay)but in my case performance was lousy)Anyway what i do is download the zip files into the world of AI folder not a seperate location the run the installer and all is fine. Its probably a messy way of doing it but it works.PS have given up with FSX but have installed all the packages into FS9cheers Andy
November 15, 200619 yr Author Rob,Make sure that the installer file (Woai installer.exe) is located in the same folder as the rest of the files that came with the installer download. This folder should contain 11 filesAC.txtFSAirports.txtAIFSControls.dllICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dllAISound.txtInstaller Documentation.docWOAIDATAavsim.dizTTools.iniTTools.exeIf you move the Woai installer.exe outside of it's directory it will give you the error as you have reported. Move the installer back into the folder it came with and it should be working okay.If you want to have a fairly quick reply on issues with woa packages or the installer it's best to visit our forum at www.world-of-ai.com , We can't monitor each and every forum frequently enough to keep up with the issues reported outside our forums.Kind Regards,Tom vd HorstWorld of AI Kind Regards, Tom van der Horst World-of-AI
