November 15, 200619 yr Unfortunately, I think it's more than just a simple hardware upgrade to get to Vista/DX10. If you want to run FSX with DX10 after installing Vista you're pretty much looking at a replacement system. There will be no AGP cards for DX10 so that means a new motherboard with a PCIe slot. Next you'll need a new DX10-compliant video card. Then comes the new RAM for the newly-replaced motherboard and probably a new power supply to feed the new mobo/video card combo. Not quite a complete system replacement but close.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
