I was looking at the VertX DA62 to purchase. I wanted to ask about v5.1 support (I can see some people saying it may work in v5). Also wanted to ask if you can get rain effects for the aircraft. The last thing is can anyone still recommend this product saying the project isn't getting any updates? Thanks 

 

 

 

 

The developer has been dealing with some very significant, tragic personal issues so other than any user support I would say expect nothing from him. It is a very nice aircraft but personally I would give it a miss.

I purchased the Vertx Da62 some months ago.  Initially I had issues with it in P3D V5 but discovered the issue was caused by my settings for MSI Afterburner, in particular the settings for Riva Tuner.  Once I resolved that issue I have not had any problems with the Vertx Da62 in P3D v5 and now v5.1.  There are no windscreen rain effects in the Vertx Da62.
