Map view to Centered on landing, with zoom?

Recommended Posts

Is there a way that I can have LNM turn "on" the map aircraft centered view and also have the zoom level set up higher so that we can see where we are at "in and on" the airport?

If not, then this would be a great feature to have. Upon landing we sometimes have our hands full with things to do (night time) and seeing where I am at on my side monitor would work like a charm.

Default already does this. It keeps aircraft and next flight plan waypoint centered. Once on the ground the aircraft is simply centered. You can change the zoom with the wheel.

See also here for more ways how to change this: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/OPTIONS.html#simulator-aircraft-icon-simulator-aircraft

That worked like a Champ, Alex! Thank you. I must have on-clicked the "aircraft and waypoint" option, not knowing what I was doing.

One other little nit-pick, if I may:

In Carto Dark mode we cannot see the Mora minimum altitude numbers. Dark text on black-background.

Thanks, Man!

Whatever works for you, Mate.

The Dark Carto is my favorite since my 32" monitor is right next to my main display and during night flying the bright maps cause glare on my main.

Is there an INI file that I can modify to get my main window to size correctly? I think that I pressed "Full Screen" when I had LNM on my 4K TV and now using LNM on my 32" monitor I "have" to use full screen mode. If I expand the window size (non-full-screen) to accommodate the 32" then the top window buttons are hidden on the top right.

Sorry I am being a pain today. Nothing else to do now really, here in the US. Close to lock-down status.

Already done.🙃 One of the very rare changes which are fast to implement, don't need an update of translated texts and cannot break a lot of other stuff.

You mean you're still in full screen? Press Shift+F11 get rid of it. Or reset window layout to fix anything strange.

If buttons are missing or the window refuses to shrink: options -> Display and Text: Try to toggle "Enable high DPI ...". This helped a user recently who had problems with scaled fonts.

I think the reset-windows to default appears to have worked. I won't know until I finish my current flight.

Interesting that my small sized keyboard did not allow Shift-Function-F11 to work. I have the blue "Fn" key to enable function keys to work. That is a pain but the small size is great.

Thanks again for a really kewl tool "we" have in LNM!

Dark carto along with dark mode looks sooooo sleek and sexxxxyyyy! It's also my favorite map setup.
