Project AI

Featured Replies

Probably something I am doing wrong, but I have no Project AI aircraft in FSX. I moved all of the files from FS9 and put them in the aircraft directory. Went to KDEN but saw only FSX AI.

Hi,Which files? Did you move files that start with "Traffic" as well as the ai aircraft files? If you only move the aircraft ai files, then you wouldn't see any planes in FSX. Usually "Traffic files" are located in sceneryworldscenery (i think). I'm not sure how Project ai files are named or where they are located.I don't use Project ai but maybe you have to install their files into FSX using their installer (with work around for FSX). I looked at their website in the past and I thought I remember they required use of their installer for FS9.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response, I guess I will have to start from scratch now since I removed all traces of FS9. Does anyone have a recommended AI provider, other than Project AI. PAI is a super site, just wondering if there are alternatives. Thanks

Not "alternative" more supplemental - they do have some of the same airlines - www.world-of-ai.com

Thanks for the info, I see that you must pay to download now. I will stick with PAI when they develope the FSX loader.

World of AI is NOT payware. It is free and packages are very similar in concept to PAI - but rather than doing all the work in-house - the WoA material is collected from the best modelers, painters and flight planners on the web.Coordination, QC and packaging are WoA's focus. The packages are available for free download on Avsim and on Flightsim.

Hmmmm, maybe I screwed it up then. I clicked on the package which took me to the avsim library which asked for a donation of $1.00 and up. If I'm wrong, please correct me, but even at a buck a download it would be pricey. Thanks
