December 5, 20205 yr So I inadvertently deleted the MSFS icon from my Desktop and would like to put one back on, but can't make any sense out of the file tree of MSFS. Where can I find the MSFS.exe file so I can send a copy to a short cut on my desktop to start the sim? Thanks

I find that isn't an option, thanks Windows 10.🙄 You can pin to Start and Taskbar that way though. What you can do is press Windows and R keys together (Win+R) and type shell:appsfolder That will bring up all your shortcuts. Find "Microsoft Flight Simulator", right click and select "create shortcut". A window will tell you that you can't create a shortcut there but offers to create it on the desktop. Problem solved!
