  1. I read in the release notes of the recent update that there are two (2) new FREE airplanes in the Marketplace, but I can not find them. Anyone know where they are? Thanks
  2. In MSFS 2024 I used to be able to go to a full screen mode removing the top and bottom tool bars by clicking on the ALT and ENTER keys at the same time. This function has stopped working. I don't remember changing anything in my settings. Any suggestions to get this feature back? What have I done wrong? Thanks
  3. I used to be able to get rid of the bottom tool bar in 2024 by clicking on ALT and ENTER. I notice after a recent update to Windows 11 I can no longer do this. Is there another key stroke that might do it? Thanks
  4. Microsoft announced a free airplane for 2024. The Piper PA-28 Dakota but I can't find it anywhere. I thought it might have automaticaly downloaded into my sim but it is not there. I have gone to the MarketPlace but can't find it there. I have also gone to the Microsoft store but it is not there. Did anyone get this free plane? if so how did you find it? Thanks
  5. I have tried a couple of suggestions I found here and on YouTube, but nothing worked. I called Logitech help line and they answered. I gave them the problem and serial number of the device. They said that there is no one at Logitech expert with that device to help me, but they would have someone from HARMONY (?) contact me. It has been three days and no contact. Who is HARMONY? Sounds like the company may be in the process of being sold. I contacted Amazon where I bought it and have been able to return it to them for full credit. Now to find another company with a radio panel for PC desktop
  6. Does anyone know if there Is another company besides Logitech making radio control panels for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024? Thanks.
  7. I have the same problems. Cant seem to make a set of controller bindings stick to that airplane. Do a flight, shut down the sim, start the sim with the same plane and at least the yoke or throttle settings are different. How do you make a set of controller bindings stick to one plane all the time?
  8. OK. Thanks. I wish someone would make a mod for this.
  9. I also have it in 2020. Which file did you use for it to work in 2024? Thanks
  10. Just like in FSMS 2020, FSMS 2024 offers the DC-3. But it has its speed indicator in MPH, nor Knots per hour. (I know that was standard on the real DC-3) Someone did a replacement file to change it to Knots in 2020, but I can't fine one for MSFS 2024. Has anyone seen one being offered? Thanks
  11. Trying not to spend more money. Does anyone show snow on the ground?
  12. I am using MSFS 2024 and can't figure out how to control the weather. I want to use Real Weather settings and this seems to work pretty good except for snow. I live in central Pennsylvania, and we had a snow storm a couple of days ago but in the sim there is no snow on the ground. I remember seeing a trailer for the sim a couple of years ago and it showed a plane flying down over New York city and it was snowing, and the snow was building up on the ground. Using the real weather setting and it is raining for real, I see the rain in the sim. If it is clear I see that in the sim. The weather generator seems to be working pretty close to the real world conditions except there is no snow on the ground when there should be. Any suggestions? Thanks
  13. I have been flying the DC-3 Emerald Harbor with the retro panel and latest Duckworth mod in 2020 for a long time and the auto pilot works well. However, in my new 2024 version I cannot get it to turn to the selected course I have set. It turns to the North every time I try to use it. I do open the hyd. valve and set the lever just like I do in 2020 but I can't get it to steer to the correct selected heading. I have not installed the Duckworth mod because I have not seen anyone talking about using it in the 2024 version. Anyone have a hint for me on what I am doing wrong? Should I install the Duckworth mod in 2024? Thanks
  14. I have lost the internet inside my home. It will be several days before new cable can be installed inside the house. I tried to play offline but can't figure out how to do that. It says I have to be online to set it up for that. Anyone know a way around that. All I have is data on my cell phone. Thanks
  15. Yes. That's it. Beam Eye Tracker. Thanks.
  16. Has anyone seen an ad for a new eye/head tracker for the sim? It popped up in my Facebook, but now I cant find it. It uses any type of camara you may have on your monitor already and is very inexpensive. Anyone have a link to it? Thanks
  17. Wow, it goes back several years. Thanks for the link. Howard
  18. Anyone tried this new sim yet? Minimum specs for computer seem pretty low. http://www.virtualpilot3d.com/?hopc2s=phulo Thanks. Howard
  19. Are you kidding? At least 2 to 3 DAYS might do it. It is BIG. If you can't stop at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, and you are going to be in NJ for a week, then your best bet will be the Air Mobility Museum at the Dover Delaware Air Force Base. I was just there and it is well done. You can do it in one day. Of course there is the Mid America in Reading, PA, a couple hours west of South Jersey and also pretty good. The Steven Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum out at KIAD , which is an extension of the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and the original one at the Washington Mall downtown Washington are very good, but you will need a day each for those too. The Intrepid Aircraft Carrier in the Hudson in Manhattan is very good too, but pretty much Navy themed of course. Both Washington and New York are easily reachable by train from NJ, if you don't want to drive. If you are going to be near Cape May, NJ, there is a small one at the airport there, but not worth driving more than an hour to see and you will see it all in a couple of hours. It is interesting though as it shows a lot of what was going on there and Atlantic City during WWII. Also interesting right next door to the hangar there is a company that have captured a lot of old Twin Otters and are converting them to turbo props. I am in Ocean City NJ for the Summer, except we are taking a cruise to Bermuda from July 10 to the 17. Would be happy to try and meet up with you, if you want. Howard
  20. I don't think so. I bought a second one for my laptop to use in my travels.
  21. Thanks for the info. Going to get it now while it is on sale. Thanks. Howard
  22. I can't seem to ;ocate a forum for the A2A products, so I will put the question here. Does anyone know if the A2A B-377 Stratocruiser for FSXwill work inP3D? Thanks.
  23. Nice video. Yes, they do a great job with the scenery. Where did you get that home cockpit? Did you build it yourself? It looks very professional. Thanks
