March 25, 20251 yr Had a good flight which ended gracefully. Normal end to sim with everything working as desired. Start new sim session and find the Hat switch on the CH Yoke now has many new bindings that conflict with what had worked so well in prior session. Same profile name but many new bindings. Got all that straightened out and had a good flight which ended gracefully. Normal end to sim with everything working as desired. Next day started another sim session - CH Yoke remains as last used but Bravo Throttle Quadrant has now lost the Increase Flap binding. The Decrease binding is still there but the Increase binding is missing. This problem of one or two bindings changing between sessions is constant. In almost every sim session I have to add or delete new bindings that were there/not there when I shut down the prior session. I need five or 10 minutes at the start of each session to get all the controllers as I want. How do I prevent this annoyance? March 25, 20251 yr The most bulletproof solution I know of is to do your control assignments in a third-party utility like FSUIPC. As Bob mentioned, third-party software is available for purchase to alleviate this ongoing problem, which has been left unattended for the past six months. However, the question is why ASOBO isn't fixing this core function, causing us to buy additional software and pay for their incompetence or stubbornness. This is not acceptable! 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
March 25, 20251 yr I have not change my binding since last year. And I never had binding disappear except once when my windows 11 decided to re-discover TM stick. As we all know all our binding is on the cloud; therefore, any windows security updates or xbox provider update are the must. April 18, 20251 yr I have the same problems. Cant seem to make a set of controller bindings stick to that airplane. Do a flight, shut down the sim, start the sim with the same plane and at least the yoke or throttle settings are different. How do you make a set of controller bindings stick to one plane all the time?
