Voice control start engines and set flaps

I would like to be able to NOT run any checklists and just call for engine start on push back and call for flaps to be set before taxi. Is this possible?

I've never tried it, but you could try it.  You'd need to manually change the modes though using the little arrow buttons.

What's the point in calling for engine start.  In an Airbus, it's just an "announcement" call only.   The FO doesn't start the engines.

Is there a voice command to set the flaps for take off after engine start? Or is it done by the FO as part of the after start flow only? Thanks.

No, the FO sets the Takeoff Flaps by himself as part of his flow.  That's the way Airbus wants it done.

In airlines, things are usually done via flows.  The Captain/PF doesn't usually issue verbal commands for every button.
