December 8, 20205 yr I would like to be able to NOT run any checklists and just call for engine start on push back and call for flaps to be set before taxi. Is this possible?
December 8, 20205 yr Commercial Member I've never tried it, but you could try it. You'd need to manually change the modes though using the little arrow buttons. What's the point in calling for engine start. In an Airbus, it's just an "announcement" call only. The FO doesn't start the engines. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 8, 20205 yr Author Is there a voice command to set the flaps for take off after engine start? Or is it done by the FO as part of the after start flow only? Thanks.

In airlines, things are usually done via flows. The Captain/PF doesn't usually issue verbal commands for every button. All flows are described in the manual: http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=fslabs_airbus B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
