Volume lowered when FS2Crew F/O is speaking

Featured Replies

Hello.

I‘m having a very annoying problem here ( WIN 10 / Version 2004 )

When using Fs2Crew for the Pmdg 747, the system lowers the volume of the backgrounds sounds ( Engines / Fans / etc ) as long as the F/O is speaking. When the F/O is finished, the volume is reverted to normal.

I‘ve tried to set the „Communications“ tab in the WIN 10 sound settings to „do nothing“. As well, I‘ve uninstalled the Realtek Audio driver and reverted to Windows Driver. All no joy at all.

I‘m using onboard sound of my MSI Z490 Gaming Carbon Wifi Board and do not know what to do anymore.

Any advise is highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Toto

Before starting the sim, uncheck Do Nothing in the communications tab and press Apply, then recheck Do Nothing and again press apply then close Sound Settings. Win 10 will indicate that Do Nothing is active but it's lying... you have to turn it off then back on again EVERY TIME you go fly. I don't know what resets it, a restart or something else.
