December 9, 20205 yr I have Saitek yoke and throttle quadrants. I am trying to remap some of the controls for twin engine flight. I now know how to do this. But when I put a new setting in selected lever, the program tells me that this lever is already assigned to a different function. I don't know how to delete the previous function, and I have ended up with some levers and switches activating two or more functions simultaneously. For example, I set a switch to cockpit view right, which works okay. But I noticed that the rudder trim was getting offset. Then I realized that the default function for this switch was rudder trim right. Can anyone help with this? You should then see all the assigned functions pop up in the middle of the screen related to that input. Click on the lever input for the assignment you want to remove, and then when another window pops up for that assignment, click on that lever input again and then select CLEAR CURRENT INPUT, then click on VALIDATE, and then at the bottom of the screen click on APPLY AND SAVE. You may find this video helpful. At about the 6:30 min point he removes an assignment for a button, but the idea is the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DXdGaRgnhU&t=355s If you search YouTube for MSFS Controller Setup you will find other videos that may help as well.
