December 13, 20205 yr i did a computer upgrade and reinstalled Win 10 and then P3D. I installed it on a dedicated SSD but when I selected the installation directory I must have been thinking of something else because the SSD the installation software didn't prepend Prepar3D to the install location so it was all installed in the root directory. I don't have any reactivations left so could reinstall, but that would take a few days, or leave it the way it is. It seems to work fine but I'm afraid it might drive me crazy because of my OCD with these kinds of things. Are there any potential issues with having P3D installed in the root directory other than looking messy?
December 13, 20205 yr Author Nevermind, the solution presented itself. An addon won't install because P3D files are missing so I'm assuming it's looking for the P3D directory. Time for a reinstall. 😞
December 13, 20205 yr Reactivating is usually very painless, often much less than a day. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
December 14, 20205 yr Author Thx Dave, good to know. I see you're in YVR. I'm in CYKA now but lived in Vancouver for many years. Wish I still had a house there lol.
