I like to fly the aerocommander by Milton shupe, I also like the garmen 1000 gps in fsx. So I deleted the gps 500, and copied the gps 1000 into the panel cfg. It works fine in the windowed mode. the ac, works fine in fsx as well. Just thought I would share this with you.

The G1000 isn't a 'GPS'... it's an entire glass cockpit for GA.

You can substitute the G1000 Nav panel for the 500 and it will work. Craig

I've done the same, had it visually completed for daytime flying for over a week now, just dialing in the lightmaps for the night-time VC to my satisfaction. I've also considered doing this in several other AC, but their lack of panel space has inhibited it in most cases :(~Dark

I'm fortuanate in having two monitors to use so I can really drag the panel so it can fill most of the 2nd monitor. Craig
