Changing time of day = induces stutters

Featured Replies

Hi guys

So changing the time of day even going back to launch day, for me at least has always introduced a "pause" until the sim settles down again.  This I can understand due to the changing of textures etc - without fail once the pause is over FPS returns to normal and all is well.  I've noticed recently, and I'm not sure when this has started but whenever I change the time in the sim, I get the usual pause but afterwards the sim is just a stuttery mess permanently.  Before the time of day change its been performing well.  Only way to fix it is to reload the sim....

Anyone else seeing similar?

Thanks

Did you install Global AI Ship Traffic? If yes, thats the culprit...

Yes I do have this installed......hmmm interesting!  I shall disable it and test.

Thanks v much!

This will happen with any offline AI, since it needs to reload the AI so they're at the right point of time in the AI plan.

This also happens in P3DV5 when using its in-sim time changing.
