Sensitiveness of rudder in MSFS

Featured Replies

Hi, I had break with MSFS.

Is it possible to set up sensitivity of rudder in MSFS options or linear curves?

I have the impression that planes "dance" unrealistically on the ground, sensitivity of rudder is very high. In P3Dv5 it works better than here. Especially when landing is strange.

Any idea for this? Maybe new FSUIPC for MSFS has option for linear curves? Thx for advices.

There are new options in the latest patch that may help but they seem to be more related to adding input lag (for smoothing ?)  and deadzone options. I have not had time to play with them.

However the root of the problem is not just sensitivity.

Current aircraft seem overly sensitive to prop wash and crosswind.  It is also possible some aircraft have CoG issues,  though I am no aerodynamics expert.

Now my rudders will not return to neutral after the up date. I have re tweaked the sensitivity curves to no avail. the rudders were working perfect before the up date any help will do

I had the same issue as you have, on my PC I was able to fix it by going to Game Controllers, Rudder properties and under Game Controller Calibration I "Reset to default" without any calibration. I re-started my PC and everything was fine afterwards.
