Cockpit-related glitch with Oculus Rift

Featured Replies

The Beta / Public Test Channel "on" within the Oculus PC ap installs it for you. All you need to do is confirm that the registry entry is right as mentioned above

In the app, you can check if the latest version is installed - go to settings / general, then scroll to the bottom for the version number. Mine is

Oculus app version 24.0.0.42.393 (24.0.0.42.393)

Hi,

Thanks for your input.!!

I have a 9700k at 4.8 and a 2080 super, so decent hardware I guess.

I also have this glitch in cockpit of a320. No matter how low the settings. I also have this in p3dv4 and p3dv5.

Do I need to install OpenXr or is this part of standard oculus software? I have the rift s..

Thanks

Happy flying!

You have much better hardware than me, so it’s interesting that you have the same problem. My understanding is that OpenXR is included in the Oculus software (or maybe it’s only included if you have chosen to download the Oculus Beta updates - I’m not sure). In any case I have the Beta updates because I couldn’t get VR to work at all without them.

I was beginning to wonder whether it had anything to do with the cockpit “Camera” settings, but I tried altering a few of those and it didn’t help. In fact one of the settings seemed to stop VR working altogether.
