Thanks in advance... Which P3D Version? Addon ATC or do you mean the default ATC window? Normally it is just done by entering VR and hitting the button (or new assigned joystick button) for ATC, it should show up slightly above your center view and slightly to the right. For better positioned windows in VR copy and paste this section within the "missionpanels.cfg" at your sim root "gauges" directory. These will bring up the windows more within you view and much more usable. So you don´t have to reposition them so much or not at all. You have to paste them and caution that you match the "window" numbers. This is for ATC, GSX and third party windows (like weather with ASP3D). Backup you original file before. Should something go wrong, paste it back and you are good to go. Copy the part "in between" the lines ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Window11] window_size = 0.2, 0.53 position = 5 ;Right Middle background_color = 0, 0, 0 alpha_blend = 0.00 visible = 0 zorder = 100 ident = ATC_WINDOW html_file = ATC ; ATC html file html_instance_name = ATC ; Provide a unique instance name 3DP_CAMERA_TRANSFORM_REFERENCE=Virtual Cockpit ; Addedmakes all aircraft the same 3DP_SIZE = 0.22,0.22 ; added to adjust the size 3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = 0.0,-0.6,0.36 ; added X,Y,Z offsets 3DP_PBH_OFFSET = 17,0,0 //3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = 0.8279997706413269043, 0.44800004363059997559, 1 [Window12] window_size = 0.25, 0.25 position = 4 ; Middle Of Screen background_color = 0, 0, 0 alpha_blend = 0.00 visible = 0 ident = SIMCONNECT_WINDOW html_file = Menu ; Use the generic menu window html content html_instance_name = SimConnectWindow ; Provide a unique instance name 3DP_CAMERA_TRANSFORM_REFERENCE=Virtual Cockpit ; Addedmakes all aircraft the same 3DP_SIZE = 0.22,0.22 ; added to adjust the size 3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = 0.0,-0.14,0.40 ; added X,Y,Z offset //3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = -1.0200003385543823242, -0.85000008344650268555, 1 [Window13] window_size = 0.2, 0.75 position = 3 ; Left Middle background_color = 0, 0, 0 alpha_blend = 0.00 visible = 0 zorder = 99 ident = PANEL_MANAGER scaleform_file = PanelManager scaleform_instance_name = PanelManager 3DP_CAMERA_TRANSFORM_REFERENCE=Virtual Cockpit ; Added makes all aircraft the same 3DP_SIZE = 0.75,0.75 ; added to adjust the size 3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = -0.0,-0.14,0.80 ; added X,Y,Z offsets //3dp_worldspace_pos_offset = -1.0440000295639038086, 0.1620000302791595459, 1 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marcus Edited December 28, 20205 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.
December 29, 20205 yr Author Thanks MPO910.. I'm on P3D 5.1 and Stock ATC. Before reading this I finally found the ATC window floating high above the cockpit glass (somewhere I never look in my go to 172). However in VR I'm unable to reposition the window in real time. I'll try your repositioning tip in hopes to bring it down. Cheers!
