December 28, 20205 yr Greetings. I am running P2A on X-Plane 11.5. I also have the LiveTraffic (by TwinFan) plugin installed. Unfortunately, while sitting on the ground, with AI traffic showing in the sim, P2A does not show either the ground or the airborne traffic. Is there a setting that I am missing, or is this not possible with this plugin? Thanks! December 28, 20205 yr Commercial Member You need to populate all 19 of the X-Plane AI Aircraft, then P2A will see them. The next update will provide the capability to see up to 63 AI Aircraft. Dave
December 28, 20205 yr Author Thank you Dave. But I don't quite understand what you mean. Does this mean that if there are not up to 19 AI aircraft showing at one time in X-Plane then they won't display in P2A? If this is the case, maybe I can increase the radius of the shown traffic in LiveTraffic. December 28, 20205 yr Commercial Member XPUIPC only shows the 19 AI Traffic in X-Plane, and the current version of P2A uses XPUIPC to see the traffic. So you need to populate the X-plane AI Aircraft and set Live Traffic to TCAS mode and it should work.
December 29, 20205 yr Author OK..... so I understand ALMOST everything....lol. When you say "I need to populate the X-Plane AI Aircraft", what exactly do you mean? How do I do that? So sorry for the trouble! I have LiveTraffic 'TCAS Controlled' checked. December 29, 20205 yr Commercial Member When you first start X-Plane on the page where you select your aircraft, at the top, there is a link called AI Aircraft. Click that and then follow X-Plane directions to populate. Perhaps someone else on the forum has a more thorough explanation. Dave
December 29, 20205 yr Author Nope...... you explained it exactly as it should have been explained! Forgive my ignorance. I never really took any notice of that setting in the sim, so I was completely lost. Do remember, I am only a couple of months into X-Plane, having been a 'die hard' MSFS user since '95! But I have found the AI Aircraft setting now, and will report back to you pronto! Many thanks! EDIT: Well you did it!!! I followed your instructions, and I now have ground and airborne traffic showing up. With a little bit more help, and I'll soon be a real P2A pro!!! Hey, thanks Dave. You are appreciated! Stay safe.
