December 30, 20205 yr Author Just gave it a test download and it was fine. It's a separate download. The folder is called Aircraft Carriers Americas with some of their own gibberish at the end. Europe is the main file. I decided to separate them by continent. You can only host six zip files per page and I plan to keep everything in one place. Edit - noticed your edit. Aye. It's not super clear. Edited December 30, 20205 yr by superspud

Let me test the 4 char ICAO code now Edited to Add: I don;t think changing the code to 4 char is going to help with FStarter. I tried the ACSF and ACNY and they don't work I get this message <bNo data found</b "2240 UTC 30 Dec 2020 ACNY" Edited December 30, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
December 30, 20205 yr Author That's a drag. Lord knows how many third party programs will show up in the years to come that don't work with stuff like this. Scratch built airports are always more trouble and I doubt that'll change.

Scratch built airports are always more trouble and I doubt that'll change. I think I know the issue. the US carriers do not show as airport in the map. The EU Carriers do show up as Airports in this map but they ar 5 char. The US carriers are 4 char but they do not show up in this nav map with that pink round thingi for some reason. Did you do the US carriers differently than the EU ones? Edited December 30, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
December 30, 20205 yr Author So for you the European ones appear but you can't start on them with that program? And the US ones aren't even physically present when you turn up there? The US ones are normal airports for me just as the Euro ones are. Am confused. Edited December 30, 20205 yr by superspud

I can start a flight on ACSF but the airport doesn't show on the Nav map. Try it for yourself But the Atlantic AC shows up on the map. with the 5 char ICAO code on it and I can also start a flight on it just like I can on ACSF. And forget about FStarter for now, since that is a 3rd party program. Edited December 30, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
December 30, 20205 yr Author Noted. There's nothing different about how they've been made but I'll give them a going over just in case there is something. Can't think what though. Edited December 30, 20205 yr by superspud

December 30, 20205 yr USNY is fine. It show up on the Navmap and I am also able to teleport to it since its a 4 digit ICAO code. The teleport box does not accept 5 char ICAO code. but USNY does not work with the payware FStarter...and thats not your issue. Thats an FStarter problem. Nevermind that. December 30, 20205 yr Problem solved. Even the ACSF appears on the nav map. Except its not in the exact spot the AC is. This explains why I missed it earlier when I was "zoomed in". I can see ACSF on the nav map if I zoom out while I am sitting on the carrier. And they are not on the exact coordinates. Apart from this yes, it would help if you change the 5 digit ICAO codes to 4 digit. Airports are never 5 char codes. It can be 4 or 3 char. . Way points are 5-10 char. Hope that helps You will be safe with naming your 4 digit ICAO code for the carriers with AC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_by_ICAO_code:_A# Any case. Thank you so much for this Freeware. I love it and I recommend this to folks. The pay ware doesn't do much more than this at the moment. If you need Aircraft career, get this free ware tool now! https://msfs.touching.cloud/mods/cloud-assistant/ and these Freeware aircraft carriers to land on. https://flightsim.to/file/4930/aircraft-carrier-uss-msfs-uk-mooring#comments-page-1 Edited December 30, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
January 1, 20215 yr I got the aermacchi mb.339. Doing some catapult takeoffs and carrier landings on the ACSF. Its not easy to land on the runway markings...This is not the Cessna 172. 🙂 Need to practice. The aircraft is fine.. The Engine sound is a tad muffled and its hard to read the instruments ..not sure what my altitude is. Wish it had a HUD. 🙂 Other than that, its fun. 🙂 Edited January 1, 20215 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
