MSFS manual cache PROBLEM

Featured Replies

How to fix the Problem that when you create an area in the manual cache settings, then move your cam with the left mouse button and then your area does not stand still it moves with you?

Video to that Problem:

It is for 100% not normal cause other guys on Youtube with cache tutorials didnt get this problem like this one:

When he moves his cam like on 3:10 it stays, but mine area moves.

It's doing this to me too. It must have been the USA update or after. It was working before that.

The release notes for the London update said that the manual cache should be deleted and redone, and now I get this bug.

There is a known bug with latest release where I get a CTD when trying to cache an offline area

Read about that; it must have been there before the London update.

Does it also move the painted area around for you?

I cached London area, and Las Vegas , no problem with either.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Hi,

I have the same problem since at least world update 2 and was waiting for the CTD to be fixed. I thought it would be linked but no :-(

It looks like the map below the grid has an incorrect vertical scale. I am surprised to only find a description on avsim.

Did you open an issue on zendesk ?

Cheers,

Arnaud

I did. I can only hope enough people have to get Asobo’s attention.

I want to do that for sure :)

Do you have a reference ID ?

I could not find it.

Cheers
