January 19, 20215 yr The external lights on the FBW A320 in MSFS work as expected when using them without MCE. MCE has some issue with them though: Nav lights: on: only turns on the left red light. off: turns off the left red light but turns on the right green light and the rear light. on: turns on the left red light again so only then all nav lights are on. off: all off on: only left red light again. Beacon lights: on: only turns on the upper beacon light off: turns off the upper light but turns on the lower light on: now both on off: both off on: again only the upper light. Strobe lights: on: only rear light on off: rear light off, wingtip lights on on: all on off: all off on: only rear light on again. Turnoff lights: on: only right light on. off: right light off, left never turns on. Logo, taxi and landing lights seem to be fine.

Excuse the terrible pun! One thing I would add, if you manually select the turn off lights switch to on, both starboard and port lights come on. Ask MCE turnoff lights off, the starboard light goes off, port stays on. Any more MCE commands just work the starboard lamp, port lamp stays on. Then if you work the switch with mouse, manually from the flight deck, “off” puts starboard lamp off and leaves port lamp on, selecting switch to on, puts port lamp off and starboard lamp on. There is something amiss. Perhaps they wired the pedestal printer to the lights bus? Regards David
