Tuning ASN while flying in weather over Cuba

Recommended Posts

Diving into the ASN config options in combo with those of Tomatoshade and working out the best combo I prefer while flying over Cuba.

I'm not much of a P3D fan/user these days, but these are really good looking shots. Really like #3

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case.

Yeah MSFS is the shiny new toy in town, that said I prefer stability and am willing to wait given P3D is working very well for myself.

Did the same for FSX -> FSX-SE and only moved to P3D once my fav planes and toolkits etc. were available as x64.

I did jump on the Flight Sim World bandwangon early and ended being burnt, pity about FSW, in every way it was a big jump up from FSX (although no streaming scenery). Just goes to show a company needs really deep pockets to develop a flight sim, I hope the Microsoft bean counters are up for the spend...

Plus I'm intending to build a new workstation however there is no hardware to buy 😞

Alas cannot get the latest Ryzen's, and there are no NVidia 3080 series or the new AMD cards unless you're rich and silly enough to pay crazy prices and even then the 3080 only has 10 GB ram, the older third gen back 1080Ti had 11 GB

I did see some 3090 locally available but at around the $3000.00 AU mark they're a bit out of my $$ range.

By the time new hardware is readliy available who knows where the sim platforms will be given all three are not static.

Cheers R
