2D panel possible?

Featured Replies

Greetings!  I am considering purchasing a Reality XP GNS.  I use FSX:SE.  Rather than replacing existing virtual cockpit panels, I am more interested in being able to bring a panel up as a 2D panel when the virtual cockpit is being by using a Shift+number key combination, like I do with default FSX panels.  Is it possible?

Not entirely sure what you are asking.. Do you want to install the RXP GNS into an existing 2d panel?  That is possible..

Do you want to add a new 2d panel to an airplane that does not currently have it?  That is a project... not easy.

Do you want to add the GNS in a 2d popup window?  That is easy to do..

Thank you for seeking clarification, Bert.  I used the wrong term and I apologize for the confusion.  I just want a 2D pop-up window with that GPS.  I'm fine if it is either possible via the GPS's provided settings or if I would need to do a little text editing, such as replacing the default GPS 500.

Thank you again Bert.  I have purchased it and used the built-in wizard to add the 2D pop-up panel.  I am very happy with my purchase!
