VFR map behaviour in VR

Featured Replies

Is it just me or has the VFR map behavior changed?

I have a distinct memory of opening the VFR map in VR and grabbing the title bar with the mouse and moving it down onto the co-pilot seat.

I thought "great just like a paper chart". I was able to get focus with the mouse and zoom and pan the map.

Now I can not move it at all. It is stuck in the center of the FOV

Maybe it was all a dream!

It worked for me. Just did a flight today with the A320nx in VR.  Was able to open the VFR map and move it to where I wanted it.  I use it for a moving map for taxi.

Turns out that trying to define composite mouse bindings does not totally work.

Left mouse +Scroll down  and Right mouse + Scroll up work fine to raise and lower pilot view. Clickable controls still work with this binding.

It is just the menu popups (discovered so far) that get hijacked by the composite  definition.

Back to the drawing board.

As a related question, did anyone get the Developer Mode performance display to work under VR? When activated, I see it vaguely at the very top in the clouds in the VR window but am unable to draw it dawn to read it using the mouse.

I already asked at the official forum, but didn't get a working solution yet. And yes, I know there are other means for displaying fps under VR, I am just asking about the in-game performance display.

Thanks and kind regards, Michael

Seems totally useless in VR.

Only rendered in one eye and at the edge of FOV and no way to reposition.

So unreadable
