Ground Crew not saying to start engine when using Voice

Featured Replies

Hello,

The ground crew didn't told me to start engines when I activated the pushback by voice control.

They do so when you activate the pushback by clicking the button.

Did I missed someting?

Please look at the voice control manual.

You need to speak:

▪ Are we cleared to start engine one?

▪ Are we cleared to start engine two?

▪ Are we cleared to start engines one and two?

▪ Are we cleared to start engines three and four?

The German phrases are also listed.

And you don't push the button to start in voice control.

You need to speak the phrase.

Again, please read the manual 😉

Thnx for ur answer, I know that I can say that about the engines start. But I was wondering if they say it without me asking it.

But reading your answer its a "no".

The manual isnt saying that you have to ask it because they dont say it without you asking it. So manual didnt gave me the answer to my question.

Actually all voice commands in the manual works except the engine voice commands.

Do I need to train my voice even more or are there limitations/moments to when I can use the engine start voice commands?

Again, I read the manual but its not in there. 😉

Just wondering?

Isn't it so that the pushback tell the cockpit without asking them to start the engines?

Ill try it again tonight to see if asking it straight after pushback it indeed works.
