I didn't fly the A320 for long, so I downloaded the latest version of the FBW mod (version 0.5.2) and started MSFS.

The aircraft appeared cold & dark and during the starting procedure, I noticed 2 problems:

• All the fuel pumps could not be turned on
• The APU didn't start (the START button was showing ON but never switched to AVAIL)
  As I had external power, the ECAM could be turned on and I could see the APU was not starting, RPM remaining at 0

I saw a thread about a possible conflict with the UWA LIGHT MOD (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/flybywire-a32nx-apu-not-starting-with-uwas-light-mod/344542), so I removed it but it didn't change anything.
I also tried to start a flight on the runway so that the aircraft is ready to fly, but I had an immediate CTD.

Any idea why this is happening?
Do you know about a possible conflict with other mods?
(I have no additional livery for this aircraft and very few mods)

Any help is welcome.

error in version number

What version are you using. ? Download the Dev version. Mind you i have never seen those issues with any version. It does sound like there maybe a problem  with some form of conflict. I use their new installer, and even update to the latest dev version every few days.

I use the latest stable version, as indicated on FBW GitHub, which is 0.5.2 I think (I wrote 0.4.0 in my original post, it was a mistake).

I usually download stable versions only. I will try the dev version.

I haven't experienced this particular problem, but have had other issues in the past which turned out to be due to conflicts with the Working Title CJ4 mod. Uninstalling this fixed the problems. Might be worth a go if you have it installed.

The dev version (0.6.0) looks like working, I am testing it now and APU starts correctly.

I hope there is no conflict with the WT CJ4 mod because I love this mod too 🙂

The current dev version of A32NX with custom FBW and the WT CJ4 work fine together. I have both and no problems. Of course they will likely both need compatibility updates when the next Sim update comes out which is imminent.

 

Indeed, I have just made a long test flight with the FBW A32NX and it worked perfect.

I could see the great work that has been accomplished by the FBW team, it is just amazing, so much better than version 0.3 or 0.4. In addition to the systems, the flight dynamics are also much improved and the aircraft is now really pleasant to fly. Congratulations Guys !!
