Hi everyone, i bit the bullet and purchased the PMDG NGXu but have realised that i have no longer got a working radar. Yes I am aware it only picks up precipitation and not clouds and during heavy rain i get no returns.  I have reinstalled AS for P3D4 and done a reinstall of the NGXu with no luck.

Not sure what else to try, but any ideas appreciated.

Last time that happened to me, I pulled my hair out troubleshooting.

In the end, I had the inner brightness knob on the left forward panel turned all the way down.

Do you have installed both the older ASP4 and the newer ASP3D? Because that was the reason why my weather radar wasn't working after switching to ASP3D. After removing the old "as_connect" entry from the dll.xml everything was fine again. I guess there was some kind of dll conflict that prevented the weather radar from working properly.

Hi Tim ihave only got AS for P3D4 installed never had the newer version. Thanks for sharing anyway.

Thanks MD i will check but I don’t think that is the problem, when i do the test function that works fine....
