February 2, 20215 yr Hi everyone, i bit the bullet and purchased the PMDG NGXu but have realised that i have no longer got a working radar. Yes I am aware it only picks up precipitation and not clouds and during heavy rain i get no returns. I have reinstalled AS for P3D4 and done a reinstall of the NGXu with no luck. Not sure what else to try, but any ideas appreciated. Cheers Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
February 2, 20215 yr Last time that happened to me, I pulled my hair out troubleshooting. In the end, I had the inner brightness knob on the left forward panel turned all the way down. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
February 2, 20215 yr Do you have installed both the older ASP4 and the newer ASP3D? Because that was the reason why my weather radar wasn't working after switching to ASP3D. After removing the old "as_connect" entry from the dll.xml everything was fine again. I guess there was some kind of dll conflict that prevented the weather radar from working properly.
