Having a look around New Zealand after discovering the NZA Simulations airfields & liveries.

They are currently 'doing' NZ secondary airfields, such as Napier, Rotorua, Oamaru & Westport.

Very well made freeware.

The shots are from a flight between Rotorua & Wellington, via Napier, in the C172 Classic, wearing an NZ Coast Guard livery.

Fictitious aircraft as, I read, the NZ Coast Guard uses C-182's.

Somewhere near Tokoroa, on the way South. The land around here reflects a volcanic history.

Standard approach into Wellington for a Northerly landing. Aircraft is descending South over Cook Strait & will swing across to the left when this headland is cleared, then left again into NZWN. If you look very closely at the ridgelines nearest the aircraft, (follow the 'bald' access tracks),  you may see a series of wind turbines that actually exist, having been constructed South West of Makara.

Great shots, T45, show us more 😀

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
