February 21, 20215 yr The last HF update i downloaded was in June 2020 client version 5.0.24.34874. Is it possible to update with client only to 5.1 or do i need full install? Been using that other sim for a while but need to enjoy some real flying. Cheers.
February 21, 20215 yr Hi Rick, Yes, to update the Client from 5.0 to 5.1 is certainly possible since Client, Content and Scenery can be installed separately, although having a mix of different versions for those three may lead to issues with some add-ons. My preference would be to update all three to be on the safe side. If you are pondering upgrading to 5.1 HF1 and if its worth it, there's more info here: https://www.prepar3d.com/news/2020/10/117270/ Before you do make the jump, make sure your current add-ons are supported in v5.1. There's still some 3rd party add-ons around that are supported in v5.0 but not in v5.1 yet.
